Presentes! Africans and Afrodescendents in Porto

The publication Presentes! Africans and Afro-descendants in Porto aims to constitute a first documentary record, with a book, of the African and Afro-descendant presence in Porto, documenting a community that appears to be growing and diversifying, despite the lack of capable statistical and/or sociological instruments to measure and characterize this relatively recent phenomenon whose political and artistic inclusion is not only due but also urgent.
